“Great energy. Great ideas. Amazing result.
Amelia immediately put us at ease with her very natural and professional approach. She listened and learned who we were, and from this had wonderful ideas on how to capture that in images. The end result was outstanding photos that really captured the essence of who we are.
Amelia is fabulous and we are delighted with the outcome.
Highly recommend!”
I collaborate with outdoor brands to communicate their unique mission through emotive photography. It’s a collaborative process from the get-go, with my first priority being to outline the message the company is trying to convey through imagery, and discuss what approach will be most effective at addressing these goals! I have experience working with anything from hiking apparel brands to paragliding tour companies, including coverage of guided off-track hikes, marketing images for a start-up mountain bike coaching brand... the list goes on! It’s an eclectic mix, but I love the variety so much.
The creative ideation for outdoor brands is an organic process. The goal is to showcase the product or service interacting naturally in a stunning landscape!
Danging off a rope, thirty meters off the ground.
Crouched on the side of a downhill mountain bike track.
Suspended in the sky, shooting frantically whilst dangled in a tandem paragliding harness.
These are all places I’ve found myself in whilst shooting branding images for extreme athletes! Whether for a sponsor or just to document personal progress, I find it immensely satisfying to capture the stoke and sheer strength of absolute crushers pushing the boundaries of adventure around Australia.
“I loved working with Amelia on a MTB photoshoot. She’s very professional but also a really friendly person. We chatted away for hours while she got some shots. I was so impressed with the final result, the pics looked amazing. I loved how she was able to make something that is photographed so often (like mountain biking riding) look unique and it’s great to have photos that look more like art than a standard race photo!! ”
